Project Background - Project Starting Point

 

The current network construction scheme cannot meet the high-quality communication needs in tunnels

• The maximum theoretical speed of 5G can only reach 700 Mbps, failing to reflect the technical advantages of 5G.

• The maximum theoretical uplink speed is only 250 Mbps, which is difficult to meet the needs of Shentong's on-board information system.

• The 5-cable scheme still cannot eliminate third-order intermodulation interference, and the performance degrades seriously during peak hours.

 

The reconstruction of old lines is extremely difficult to implement.

• The demand for basic resources is high.

• The implementation of reconstruction projects is difficult.

• The effect after reconstruction is poor.

Based on the above reasons, we need a new type of coverage method to solve the 5G signal coverage problem in metro tunnels.
